Molly Hocking

Molly Hocking got to the Grand Final of TeenStar in 2014, performing at the NEC in Birmingham. Molly later went on to the Voice UK winning the competition in 2019, with her recording of ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ immediately reaching No.1 on iTunes.

Lola Young

Lola Young entered the competition in consecutive years, going from previous years running off stage in tears to winning Open Mic UK in 2015, joining an impressive list of previous winners. Since then, Young was signed to Universal Music (Island Records) and is now managed by Nick Shymansky (who also managed Amy Winehouse).

Courtney Hadwin

America’s Got Talent Finalist Courtney Hadwin had been a regular competitor at both TeenStar and Open Mic UK for several years. She’s worked with singing coach Julie Miles from Vocal Ovation, one of our competition judges and ambassadors. Courtney first entered TeenStar in 2015 and made it all the way to the Grand Final.

Flying out to America, Courtney made a big impression on the judges across the pond, winning the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel after auditioning for AGT. Although she didn’t win the competition, Simon Cowell signed her to his own record label, saying, “I will never forget her first audition on the show this year, and now we have the opportunity to work with her alongside Arista – it’s fantastic.”

Michael Rice

Michael Rice was the runner-up at TeenStar in 2013 at The O2, placing second to that year’s winner Luke Friend. He performed Sweet Dreams by Beyonce at The O2 in London. He said, “I got the opportunity to showcase my talents and my music to industry professionals like Sony and Syco, and I even got the chance to perform at the final at The O2. For a 13-year-old, that is big!”

Michael’s success continued he appeared on the 11th series of X Factor in 2014 and went on to win the BBC TV show All Together Now in 2018. In 2019, Michael represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest.
