Sharmayne has 25 years of performing arts experience, including 15 years teaching dance and drama alongside developing and managing her personal performing career.

New Age Creativity’s Sharmayne Whitter

Sharmayne is the Creative-Arts Director of New Age Creativity’s School of dance and New Age Creativity Performing arts workshops both in the UK and abroad.

Through 25 years of experience she has broadened her portfolio and made a name for herself as a serious dancer and performer appearing on national TV shows such as X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Not only has she had countless TV performances, Sharmayne has toured the UK and Cyprus with theatre teams performing West End musicals. As well as creating, choreographing and performing all over the UK as ‘Shanghai’ where she has performed at The Clothes Show at the NEC, Birmingham, Pride and Wulfrun Hall in the UK, Europe and Thailand.

Along with her dance portfolio, she can add music to her portfolio with the release of the dance track ‘Keep on Rising’ currently available on iTunes. She also collaborated with Apache Indian for the track ‘Boom Boom.’

Sharmayne believes ‘performing should be free-spririted, a fun and unique way to express oneself. No performer is ever the same’.
