Talent scout Rosalind Fountain is a highly experienced talent contest judge, and over the years has mentored many artists, advising, coaching, guiding and helping to further their careers.
Rosalind Fountain is the festival producer of the annual Music in the City festival, which involves over 1,000 participants each year. She is also the artistic director of the Southampton Maritime Festival. In her newspaper column Rosalind regularly introduces up-and-coming artists, many of whom have been spotted in the music competitions shes judges, including Open Mic UK.
Talent Scout – Rosalind Fountain
As a trained singer herself, Rosalind Fountain has performed all over the UK and abroad to a wide range of audiences, including a crowd of over 20,000 at St. Mary’s football stadium. For many years Rosalind directed her own youth theatre company, scripting, choreographing and producing many shows. As a vocal coach for a London stage school, she also trained many young people for the West End stage.
Rosalind Fountain is often a guest on radio stations across the country, talking and offering advice about the music industry and promoting new artists. As a talent scout, vocal coach, mentor, performer, director, festival producer and columnist, Rosalind Fountain has a keen and intuitive eye and ear for spotting emerging talent and finding new stars.
