Jaymi Hensley is one quarter of hugely successful British boyband Union J who signed with Sony Music. Union J’s Jaymi Hensley became an overnight sensation on the 2012 series of The X Factor. Since then the boyband have released 2 albums, had four UK top 10 singles and won BBC’s Radio 1 Teen Award in 2014 for Best British Breakthrough act. Union J also sold out 18 date tour across the UK and Ireland.

Prior to the success of Union J, Jaymi Hensley trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School and also studied musical theatre at The Brit School. In 2015, he made his West End debut in a one night only special! He also competed regularly in Future Music competitions before hitting the big time, reaching numerous grand finals as a solo artist and as a group. Jaymi has gone through a period of significant personal growth recently, moving into television both presenting and acting. He is also opening his own Academy for performing arts, the Jaymi Hensley Academy of Performing Arts.
