Universal Music’s James Meadows has been a musician for over 10 years having toured with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, The Ordinary Boys and The Subways.
Following this Universal Music’s James Meadows then moved on to live music promotion, working with bands such as Maximo Park, Hard Fi and The Cribs to name a few, and now works as Product Manager for Universal.

As well as touring with some of the UK’s most popular bands, Universal Music’s James Meadows commenced an internship with Warner Music Group. After 3months Universal Music’s James Meadows was interviewed for a role in the compilation department Rhino, he got the job and worked on compilation albums for the likes of The Smiths, Joy Division, Prince, Led Zeppelin and The Brit Awards album 2011.
Universal Music’s James Meadows went on to work for Brotherhood Media focusing on outdoor, ambient marketing, pop up stores and more with clients including The Rolling Stones but was then head hunted by Warner Music to join the team as a Marketing Assistant in order to work with artists such as; Stooshe and Lily Green and Maguire.
Universal Music’s James Meadows is currently working as a Product Manager for Universal where he recently scored his first No.1 with the BRIT Awards 2013 album. He has also received a gold disc for album sales in excess of 100,000 for album ‘Teenage Kicks 1977 – 1981’.
