TeenStar Champions: The national singing and dance competition TeenStar has found its latest winners! Joining a long line of prestigious contestants, Teah and Sophie’s Studio, Gun Control? were chosen as the overall winners of the competition

Teah and Sophie’s Studio, Gun Control? were crowned champions in front of a capacity crowd and a professional industry judging panel at indigo at The O2. Teah won the singing category and Sophie’s Studio won for dancing, both impressing the competition industry judges, making them the overall TeenStar winners for each category.
Industry Judges at the National Grand Final
After impressing the judging panel at the auditions, Teah and Sophie’s Studio, Gun Control? battled against more than 10,000 acts that had entered TeenStar this year across the UK. They went on to perform in the TeenStar live showcases, battling through both Regional and Area Final heats to make it to the national Grand Final.
The TeenStar 2019 Grand Final judging panel included;
- Carrie Grant – BAFTA award-winning broadcaster, vocal coach and advocate.
- Chris Grayston – Head Judge and Music Consultant
- Daniel Gardner – Evolved Artists Management
- Leon Haynes – A&R Manager at Polydor Records
- Suzanna Dee – Singer, Songwriter & Producer
Overall Singer Winner Prizes
Teah was the overall singing winner and has now won the following incredible prizes:
- Production of her album in one of the UK’s finest recording studios, River Studios
- Working with a top producer on her songs
- Fully produced video of the single of her choice
- An initial extensive winner’s publicity package (previous winners coverage includes; BBC and ITV television, Rewind Magazine, Mojo, RWD, Q Magazines and more)
- A comprehensive consultation and development package which includes image and brand advice, a social media revamp, and access to industry contacts, plus more
- A one to one vocal technique session with celebrity vocal coach CeCe Sammy .
Overall Dance Winner Prizes
Sophie’s Studio, Gun Control were the overall dance winners and have now won the following incredible prizes:
- Cash prize of £2,500.
- Fully produced video of the performance of their choice.
- Promotional photo shoot by one of the UK’s best photographers.
- An initial extensive winner’s publicity package (previous winners coverage includes BBC and ITV television, Mojo, Q Magazines and more)
